A System for Asset Monitoring, Presentation, and Tracking (SAMPATI) designed and engineered by O/o Controller General of Accounts (CGA), Ministry of Finance, Government of India emerges as a crucial tool in this endeavor, offering a comprehensive framework to record, monitor, present, transfer, verification and track assets throughout their lifecycle maximize the value of diverse assets owned or controlled by Central Government.
SAMPATI is developed and designed for creation, updation and maintenance of an Information Technology based e-Assets Register.
SAMPATI enables Central Govt. Ministries and Departments to maintain real-time visibility into their asset portfolios, facilitating informed decision-making and proactive maintenance strategies. By leveraging MIS reports and visualization tools, SAMPATI empowers stakeholders to assess asset performance, identify trends, and forecast future needs with precision.
Furthermore, SAMPATI plays a pivotal role in enhancing transparency and accountability within organizations. By documenting asset movements from recording of assets, Transfer of Assets with in same or different Ministries, condition assessments through Annual verification, and maintaining histories of each Asset.
